ESSENCIAL

There are some things in life we cannot replace and most of us are so careless about them because we think they will last forever. However, when you get older you realize that you are foolish in your neglect and callous attitude. One of the most important things we take for grant is our health until we lose it. I spoke to a few school kids the other day and asked them to give me the indication of how many times their parents talk about their health accept for brushing their teeth. I was astonished to find five percent of the children who have parents who are wise enough to talk about health in general. The attitude is there are hospitals and doctors who look after our health. Have you ever heard the expression prevention is better than cure? That is not the hospital nor the doctor's responsibility to do so but for us as parents owe our kids to teach them health issues every day. It is not good enough to tell them to brush their teat but we need to teach them to be aware of all the other hazards. One of them is our eyes which is a vital organ that can cripple our life once you have lost it. Our sun rays are getting stronger by the day but how many of us teach our kids to protect their eyes when they go into bright sunlight. How many kids wear sunglasses when going into bright sunlight. Mom is quit to tell them to put on a hat but a hat does not protect the eyes. Did you know that one of the fastest-growing businesses is providing glasses for people whose eyesight is going? I have done research and the answer I hear over and over again is that sunlight damage the eyes and that is why more and more people wear glasses. However, the problem does not stop there because we still go into the sunlight with our prescription glasses and the problem does not stop. It has been proven by scientists that those who protect their eys against the glare of the sun are better off than those who don't.

We as parents have a responsibility to look after our children's health and we have a responsibility to look after our own eyes. Once your eyes have picked up problems there is no turning back. People believe that they can run to the eye specialist and he will fix things. That is not always true he can assist but sometimes the damage is irreversible. My eldest brother is a case in point because he has developed eye glaucoma which is irreversible and he lives from day to day with heavy medication and pray every day he can only see, even if it is bad to see his kids and family.

Take your health and that of your kids seriously and remain healthy

Another aspect which is most neglected is the fact that we all believe that we are capable of driving at night. Scientists have proven that driving at night we stare into the glare of artificial light coming from incoming cars is sometimes more damaging than the sunlight we are exposed to. In sunlight, the eye has a natural way of protecting itself by closing the pupils or open it widely when light is dimming. With oncoming cars, the eye cannot continuously close or open the eye pupils because it is too irregular. That is why night driving for older people becomes a nightmare. Young ones believe they can cope but if looked at accidents at night caused by the glaring light of oncoming traffic it is scary to drive at night especially in the cities. We as the ordinary citizens believe it is no problem but looking at stats it horrifies me that governments do not make night driving wearing antiglare glasses compulsory. That is one of the aspects I have taken up with government and they acknowledge that was not an aspect considered.  However, they will look at it and if the stats are significant they ill pas legislation to this effect. You owe it to yourself and the people around you to improve your night drive safety. If the Government is going to introduce legislation to make wearing anti-glare glasses at night compulsory the price of these glasses is going to skyrocket and the ordinary man in the street is going to bear the brunt. Why not get yours now and prevent the rush and the price increase. It is not only a must but essential to protect your eyes from the glare of oncoming traffic and to increase your and the lives of your family tenfold.

Night glare glasses are a must not a luxury and those who ignore this are going to pay the price and forced to use them at a later stage. I am going to stay on governments back until this legislation is passed because my research has shown that most people have a problem with glaring lights at night. Then you get the stupid person who does not dim his brights at night. This increases the problem.
Here are a few links to assist you to buy the glasses you need. Look at the links and buy the glasses which you prefer. Remember it is not a luxury but a most to protect you and your family's eyes
